Overview:

Chiang Dao is said to be the only Thai district where all of the six main, ethnic hill tribe groups — Akha, Hmong, Karen, Lahu, Lisu and Yao — are represented. In addition to Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary, the district incorporates much of the vast Pha Daeng, as well as sections of Sri Lanna, national parks.

Description:

Day 1

  • 7:30am. Meet your tour guide at your hotel
  • Short brief and test drive
  • Depart at 8 am. From the office
  • Driving on Chiang Mai-Chiang Dao Road with visiting Chiang Dao Cave
  • Continue on the road to Palong Hill Tribe Village
  • Visiting the Hill Tribes School
  • Stay overnight in the Palong Hill Tribes village
  • Enjoy Hill Tribes dance while have your dinner

Day 2

  • Drive to Mae Ngad  Dam
  • Visit Karen, Lisu and Akha Hill Tribes
  • Refreshing at sticky waterfall
  • Back in Chiang Mai around 6 pm.
